Stir Fried Pork with String Beans (Pork and Beans)

Ingredients

500 g pork, cut into 5cm strips

1 tablespoon soy sauce

3 tablespoon vegitable oil

1 knob ginger, shredded

1 clove garlic, crushed

300 grams green beans

1 each brown onion

1 tablespoon sweet bean paste
or

1 tablespoon cornflower
Steps
- Marinade the pork for 10 min in the soy sauce, oil, ginger, and garlic.
- String the beans and cut into 5cm lengths.
- Parboil for 3-4 min. Reserve liquor for stock.
- Fry the onion in the wok in a little oil for 1 minute. Remove and reserve.
- Add a little more oil, then fry the pork in two lots, until well seared.
- Mix the sweet bean paste with the cornflower and a little of the stock.
- Add all ingredients back to the wok and stir through until the sauce thickens.
- Serve over white rice.
